These informal events offer you a chance to connect with some of the religious and spiritual communities and groups at Harvard. 

10 am - 12 pm
UNITED METHODIST CHAPLAINCY AT HARVARD
Interested in a diverse welcoming community committed to social justice, service, and progressive faith exploration? Join us for WORSHIP (10 am), followed by BRUNCH, and SERVICE-partnering with Black and Pink (www.blackandpink.org) to prepare birthday cards for persons in prison who identify as LGBTQ. HUMANIST CHAPLAINCY
Visit Harvard’s Humanist Hub: the first campus center building community for atheist/agnostic students! Steps from Harvard Yard, this beautiful space features great weekly social gatherings, service, retreats, famous speakers (Joss Whedon, Seth MacFarlane, Piper Kerman, etc.), humanist chaplains Greg Epstein and Vanessa Zoltan, secular meditation, and more! humanisthub.org.  30 John F. CRU: ATHLETES IN ACTION AND HARVARD CHRISTIAN IMPACT

THE MEMORIAL CHURCH
Sunday service 11 am - 12:30 pm. At 12:30, join us for fun, fellowship, and food! Come to learn more about the Memorial Church, an interdenominational Protestant church in the center of Harvard Yard. Hope to see you there! All are welcome. The Porch of the Memorial Church (Tercentenary Theater).

SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHAPLAINCY
Share a homemade lunch of curry and rice (Japanese- style) with us! Meet upperclassmen and alums who will answer your questions about spiritual life at Harvard and introduce you to Asian Baptist Student Koinonia, one of the Christian fellowships on campus. Afterwards, for those who are interested, we will attend Sunday worship together at Antioch Baptist Church, just a 5 minute car ride from campus. Boylston 105, Harvard Yard.

12:30 - 2 pm
HARVARD KOREAN MISSION
Welcome freshmen!  Come meet the Harvard Korean Mission Chaplain and other church senior members. Refreshments will be served including Korean barbeque food. Harvard Chaplains' conference room, lower level, Memorial Church, Harvard Yard.

THE EPISCOPAL CHAPLAINCY AT HARVARD
Come meet the Chaplain and student leaders over a light lunch at the home of the Episcopal Chaplaincy, just two doors down from Christ Church Cambridge, the historic Episcopal Church on Harvard Square, where we worship during the academic year. New students and their families should also feel free to attend the 10:15 am service of Holy Eucharist at Christ Church earlier that morning. Two Garden Street, Cambridge.

HARVARD ISLAMIC SOCIETY

Hello First-years! HIS is excited to welcome you to the family. Join HIS for a paid ice cream social and meet your peers, the chaplain and other members of the community. We will be purchasing frozen yogurt from Berryline Frozen Yogurt Shop and will head over to Quincy Courtyard afterwards. If you have any questions contact us at harvardislamicsociety@gmail.com.
