Harvard Community Event - The Giving Trees
From Thursday at 1:00 p.m. to Friday at 5:00 p.m. you will see 10 lighted trees decorating the steps of Memorial Church. These Giving Tree(s) will mark a space for community, reflection, and healing for our campus. You should come as you are and give whatever message you can. Something that you possess, today, and would like to share with another—be it love, a message of hope, validation, support or encouragement. You can also feel free to take with you a message another has written, a message you feel you need to be reminded of or needed to hear today. We are encouraging the entire Harvard community to engage with this installation and hope you will take the time to join us in reflecting on the past weeks. On Thursday from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. there will be donuts and hot chocolate!
