Call to action:

Join us on April 15th for Faith Day during Harvard Heat Week, a week of action calling on Harvard University to divest from fossil fuels. Faith communities in Massachusetts and across the globe have helped lead the fight for climate justice since the beginning, and they have a powerful message for Harvard—it’s time to divest, for people and planet. A huge number of faith institutions have divested, and it’s time for Harvard to follow their lead.

For years, Harvard has refused to divest, preferring to talk, to think, and to discuss responses to climate change. During Harvard Heat Week, we will stand united and call on Harvard to act commensurate with the scale of the problem—to address the climate crisis head-on and stand with its students and those most impacted by climate-fueled disasters.

Faith leaders, students, faculty, alumni/ae, and Harvard community members will come together to speak out for climate justice, learn from one another, and take action. The climate crisis leaves no room for neutrality—join as we tell Harvard to stand on the right side of history and proclaim that injustice is not an investment.
