Thank you for reading my profile! I am extremely honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve as the Seventh-day Adventist chaplain at Harvard University.

I identify myself foremost as a follower of Jesus Christ. I find my greatest joy in ministry through teaching, preaching and helping young people apply the principles of discipleship to Christ as found in the New Testament of the Bible. My personal faith journey has led me to embrace the Seventh-day Adventist church as my own,  and I am proud of its message of Biblical fidelity, whole life transformation, and loving service.

I also find my identity as a Chilean-born half-Italian raised in Staten Island, New York. I credit my parents and grandparents for, among other things, my passion for food, family, and lively storytelling. I have enthusiastically integrated these elements into my ministry and Kathy and I would love to have you over some time for lasagna, empanadas, or mangu (my wife's Dominican!).

The Seventh-day Adventist student community in and around Cambridge is alive and thriving! Whether you are a practicing Seventh-day Adventist, haven't been to church in a while, or are just interested in spending time with a vibrant fellowship of faith, you are more than welcome to join us. We meet during the week for care groups and on weekends for Sabbath worship, Potluck, Bible study and service.
