The Memorial Church is an inter-denominational Protestant church in the midst of Harvard Yard that serves as a place of spiritual refuge to the entire community. We are part of a vibrant interfaith network of the University which includes Harvard Hillel, Harvard Islamic Society, and The Harvard Buddhist Community, among others. “MemChurch” stands opposite Widener Library as a visible reminder of the historical and spiritual heritage that has sustained Harvard for nearly four centuries. The Memorial Church maintains a broad ecumenical program of worship, preaching and teaching. All members of the University, regardless of denomination, are welcome. A Christian service of Morning Prayer is held at 8:45 a.m. Monday through Saturday during Term, with the principal worship service held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. For more information about events and services, visit the Memorial Church Web site or find us on Twitter or Facebook.
